David WARD

David WARD has worked in energy research for over 25 years, working in technical, socio-economic and policy areas. His background is in technical work developing fusion power, within the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, and he has also worked alongside researchers in other areas of energy to inform scenario models of future energy supply. This has involved collaborations with UK teams developing UK energy models out to 2050 and also EU teams looking at global energy scenarios to 2100. David is involved in work with the IEA, including collaborations with the US, Japan, China, India and Korea, and is a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies.
