Azzedine ELMIDAOUI

Azzedine ELMIDAOUI has been the President of Ibn Tofail University – Kenitra since 2014. He has also been a member of the European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature since 2015 and the Higher Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research since 2014. He received several national and international scientific awards. In 2008 he received the Competitiveness Award “University-Business Partnership Award” bestowed by the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Training. Recognizing the value of research and development in the field of desalination, he was responsible for 34 research contracts and agreements that resulted in funding of around 15 million dirhams; he also held two patents in 2011 as the first inventor. Both patents have to be submitted to international recommendation by the OMPIC. With his rich scientific experience, he has been appointed expert with eight international companies and groups.
