On the 16th of May, King Abdullah inaugurated the first major international research center of the Middle East. This launching coincided with our 11th conference in Dead Sea. Our group of participants had the privilege to visit the site a few days before the inauguration, on the 13th May. The participants were welcomed by Mohammed Yasser Khalil, Administrative Director of SESAME, and were guided through the site by SESAME staff members.
