Lara Nassar

Lara is an Environmental Scientist working at the WANA institute as a Senior Researcher. Lara holds an MSc in Environmental Management of Urban Land and Water from the University of Sheffield in the UK and has an environmental BSc background from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. She has previously worked with the International Union for Conservation of Nature – Regional Office for West Asia, UNDP and GEF. Lara joined the WANA institute from IUCN having previously worked on climate change resilience and adaptation, land degradation and desertification. She has contributed in writing success stories and process documentation. She has also worked on environmental initiatives both regionally and internationally.
