Giovanni GRASSO is General Director of Columbus Superconductors SpA. Previous Positions : Since 1990, he is active in the development and application of high temperature superconductivity. He carried out his PhD on the development of BSCCO superconductors at the University of Geneva under the supervision of Prof. René Fluckiger, until 1997. Afterwards he joined INFM as Senior Scientist, with the goal of establishing a new National Laboratory for Innovative and Artificial Materials, before leaving for Columbus Superconductors in 2006. While to the present position, he was Technical and Commercial Director. He is co-author of more than 200 publications on international journals and he is inventor of several international patents.
